WHY BREASTMILK?
Breastmilk is one of the most extensively studied biological fluids in nature, and one of the most compositionally sophisticated.
Its architecture includes human milk oligosaccharides, structured lipids, proteins and a diverse range of bioactive components. Together, these elements contribute to nourishment, microbiome development, immune function and epithelial barrier support during early life. Human milk oligosaccharides, in particular, are structurally diverse specialised sugars associated with the development of the infant gut microbiome and intestinal barrier.
